**Access and Facilities:**
Access to the cafe is convenient, either via the Kivalo hiking trail or its dedicated access road. For those arriving by car, parking is available at the hiking trail's designated area at Kivalontie 1698, 94500 Keminmaa, or in the cafe's private yard at Kivalontie 1650, 94500 Keminmaa. In the winter months, a 1.5-kilometer forest path leads to the Kaljupää-Helkkunen hill, featuring engaging nature-themed activities along its route.
The facilities within the Metsäkahvila area are meticulously designed for comfort and enjoyment. The cafe grounds feature a warm, sheltered lean-to with a fireplace, alongside a covered dining table accommodating approximately 25 seated guests and standing room for about 10 more. Two smaller campfire sites are equipped with lounge chairs and side tables, suitable for eight individuals. The broader camping area offers additional seating, blankets, and pillows, complemented by a range of nature-themed activities including drawing/painting supplies, nature games, 'Metsä & Meditaatio' (Forest & Meditation) cards, magnifying glasses, and nature books. For ultimate relaxation and sun-seeking, various spots are available, from hammocks and forest terraces to traditional yurts.
